Stone Fruits from Morocco

Peaches, apricots, plums and cherries: the taste of spring turning into summer.

Stone Fruits from Morocco

Origin

Morocco. Stone fruit trees need a cold winter to rest and flower well in spring, so they grow where the winters are cool enough.

Varieties

  • Peaches and nectarines
  • Apricots
  • Plums
  • Cherries
  • Other stone fruits: ask us what is available

Season

The season generally runs from spring to summer, depending on the fruit. A late frost at the wrong moment can affect a crop, so the quality of a season can change from one year to the next.

Sizes

Stone fruits are graded by size and by appearance. Tell us the range you prefer.

Packaging

  • Trays
  • Cartons
  • Punnets and retail packs

Availability

Supply follows the season. Tell us the quantity and how often you would like to receive it, and we will tell you honestly what we can commit to.

Transport

Stone fruits are kept cool, around 0 to 2 degrees, and handled gently, because bruises appear quickly on the skin. They are at their best when they are allowed to finish ripening at room temperature.

Destination markets

We supply professional buyers in Europe and in other markets. Tell us where the goods should go and we will explain what is possible, including labelling and documents.

Quality

The fruit is picked by hand when it is firm but already coloured, so that it can travel and keep ripening and softening on its way.

Certificates

We do not list certificates on this page. If a certificate applies to a product or to a grower, we will tell you exactly which one it is and send you the document with your quote.
